This takes me back to my roots, when I was working on paper collage. Now though, I get to mix the colors instead of just choosing papers.

Did you know that graphite is blue? I have decided that the most important color is gray. And at the same time, I will say that there is no such thing as gray but only muted values of blues, greens, oranges, etc.

Again I am reminded of Milton Avery. I also am reminded of a dream I had when I was in engineering college. One night, I thought I saw shapes on the wall. There were cubes and cones, squares and spheres. For some reason that made me feel very happy. I woke up and realized that I was dreaming. Simple shapes still make me very happy.
