Abstract Geometric Art Gallery

These abstract works take me 2-3 times as long to paint than my still life studies. My initial opinion was that this was due to the new subject matter, learning curve, etc. But now I am thinking it is because these are so much more open ended for me. Painting from the imagination. Sketching on the panels with graphite first. Rearranging the forms and adjusting the colors until they click for me.  I'll be interested to see if these still take as long after I've been doing them for a while.
