This 10" X 14" watercolor painting on Kilimanjaro 140 lb. cold press paper is another example of the way in which I seem to handle this medium. The colors are bright and strong and somewhat opaque as opposed to being pastel and very transparent in nature. I have used this color combination many times before and it would seem that it conveys something I want to say. The design evolved as one which could be associated with a specific group of people or tribe. I was thinking Native American, but a friend from Scotland described it as having reminded him of Zuku from South Africa.
