This 9" X 12" watercolor on Arches 140lb. cold press paper was inspired byt the current conflict in the Middle East between the United States, Great Britain, and Iraq. Everyday now, the TV is filled with images of the war and the toll both in human terms and property have made their way into our everyday lives. This painting came from inside of me and is my statement about a sad time in our history. It is my very personal vision and even though some might consider it stark and disturbing, it was something I needed to express.
