This Original Art Trading Card is the first actual plein air painting I have done in a trading card format. The image is of one of a series of headlands at Rialto Beach, Olympic National Park, WA. I completed this onsite on the 18th of June. Yes, it was cloudy and stormy looking but the clouds were in the process of breaking up and the rest of the day was delightfully sunny and hot! (though not the water, brr!) "Lords a willin' and the creek don't rise", I will continue painting a series of views of this magnificent area. Stay tuned! This bright, bold little painting has been created on heavy stock acrylic paper. Name of piece and signature included on back as well as signature on front.
