Stein, Myron Stevens, Gary Paul Stutler, and Charles White


I had submitted two pieces for a show called "Imagine California" at a gallery in Danville California. The person choosing entrants was the same one who chose my "teacups and books" for the sebastapol "wide open" exhibit. He chose both of my paintings to be in the show at this gallery. Danville is a really artsy little town with lots of art galleries. These are the two I had submitted

It came at such a good time. This makes me very happy - I have surpassed my largest dreams I had for myself as an artist at this point and despite that I am working on a game plan of sorts it still shocks and surprises me in the best of ways when stuff like this happens. To me it is a sort of authentication that I am not just pretending to be an artist I am a real artist now

I feel like sally fields at the academy awards "you love me, you really love me" heh heh. I just never expected to get this far and I know in the scheme of a true professional's body of work and road to becoming a professional I am just at the infancy stage but I just never thought I would see my little girl dreams get this far
