I too was trying to post an avatar from Safari-no luck. Am waiting to see if Firefox worked here for me.

well, i see an avatar (and a cool one at that!) some something worked! as for the safari issue, that one is out of our hands since this is a third-party piece of software and the folks that wrote it haven't written a patch yet.
