This is info is in the message board FAQ http://www.ebsqart.com/forum/faq.aspx

Can I upload an image or attachment to my post?

You may attach a file to your post. The allowed file format and the maximum file size will be displayed when you click on "Click here to upload".

For graphical files (jpeg, gif, bmp, png), you can embed the uploaded picture in the post directly by checking the box: “Embed picture in post”.

I am now looking at "Reply to Message" and posting this reply!

The last button on the right says "center". I do not see a mountain graphic on any of the buttons or icons.

I definitely read the faq, like I said before, and am still having issues...

I think you're missing a bunch of options, then. you don't see align right, horizontal rule.ordered list, etc?

What browser and operating system are you using?

I don't know; it's the dreaded mac/firefox combo in that I don't know which is causing the problem. I know there can be incompatibilities with both that weren't addressed in this version of the forum (it's third party software, so we don't have much control over this)

My suggestion? Try both IE and safari and see if either gives you the full range of posting options. That will help us get a better idea of what isn't working.

I'm posting using Safari. The "look" is slightly different (rounder buttons, etc.) but the options appear to be the same as when I used Firefox.

I'll take a look at Explorer and ask my husband the Mac guru...

Looks the same as Firefox and Safari.

Under the smileys, I have a choice of buttons:
B
I
U
hr
quote
link
color
list
image
code
right
center
Font Face (drop down menu)
Font Size (drop down menu)
?
Quote original

Those are the buttons...

My husband just suggested dropping and dragging. Didn't work.

Nope, dragging and dropping won't work in this case.

What happens when you click the "image" button?

Hmmm. Not sure what to telll you yet, but we'll inquire with the folks that made the software.

Have you tried the File--click here to upload--checkbox for embed picture in post option yet?

So...not sure if it worked. I can only embed one picture per post...but I don't see the picture in preview.

woohoo!

ok...now, not to look a gifthorse in the mouth...in order to post multiple images, i will need to reply multiple times ('cause of the one image per post) and wait several minutes between posting...?

it is kinda stinky...

i appreciate your help with this, though! if you hear from the software guru's, please keep me updated!

Thanks Amie & Terri

I am so sorry it took this long to figure out the problem.
Another way to get around it if you are using your files that you uploaded to your art case is to make thumbnail images  and post the links to each one...  You would need to either make a text file and cut and paste the address for each link and then paste all of it into the post or open up a second browser and be in the forum on one and your ebsq art-case in the other.

Amie, I think that is true about the multiple images.  At least, I have never found a different way (which drives me mad...oh never mind, I am already there....)  Glad you worked out how to post one.  The delay is like a minute in between,  as far as I can tell.....

I'm still not sure if this is working. When I post and use the "Click here to upload!" I get a view of a broken image (that little icon of a page with the corner turned down) and when I clicked on it, I got a pop up window with a yellow block that said "ERROR!" in it....?!!

Even when I posted the pic above, I got the broken image. It wasn't until I came back later that I could see the image. Is it just delay? Why would I get the error message?
