Sherry that's cool that you're creating a consistent "other world" with your drawings! Back to the markers (this should be my last post on them or I'd just create a new discussion on them), I just wanted to share what I discovered, although it may not really matter since you two (Alma & Sherry) are already set with what you use. I went to the Jerry's store yesterday - I had pretty much made up my mind to get the Faber Castell Pitt brush pens, but the store was much more expensive than online so I just bought a 6-pack as well as a couple of other things to test, and it's a good thing I did! While the brush pens are very nice for drawing (crisp lines, bright colors, no soaking through or bleeding), I found that the India ink does not take colored pencil well! When I tried putting down a larger solid area, the coverage was splotchy (this could be because I was using the smaller pens) and this was not easily "fixed" with colored pencil. I then went back & gave my 2 prismas another try (I found a second one) and found that they were even better than the copic for a smooth, non streaky surface. What's more, Prismacolor now makes brush tipped markers (dual tip with a fine point as opposed to chisel, which I never liked) so I went and ordered a set (open stock they're only $2.55 each but I went and ordered a set so that I wouldn't have to decide). I didn't find my one Copic to be significantly better than the Prisma on any count other than appearance, which although it's nice to have a pretty marker it isn't critical. I'm not sorry that I bought the Pitts, I'll still be able to use them but just not the way I had intended. So anyway in the spirit of posting faces, here's my little experiment using the pitt brush pen & colored pencil (which I had to struggle with). It's enlarged, the actual image is about 1.5" tall:
