I had been contemplating trying out Artfire, but I just saw that it's whole design and look seems so techy and bulky. Hate it! What do you think? I feel this makes everyone's shop presentation and their art totally clash.

I've never cared for the design of Artfire's site, but it's just my personal opinion. It has bad feng shui.

I am thinking of pulling out, too. I did have a sale in Jan and have kept my account open because of that, but nothing more has happened, and I have spent $40...more keeping it open. So, time to close.

I didn't realize bad Feng-Shui- - - maybe that is why so few sales!

I've never really looked at Artfire, so I just checked it out, and I don't know what the "old" design looked like, but this one has some good points! The bad... yes, it's techy looking... very simple and lots of gray. Blecch. But the good is the nice big gallery images, and the site is SO easy to navigate. Wow. I have never seen anything so efficient. I had no trouble finding my way around. The categories are set up so you can easily "drill down" and find exactly what you want. I might have to buy that organic cotton dog collar...

I left Artfire ages ago. I don't think I ever sold anything there and like Etsy it's not a marketplace devoted to art, but everything else too including supplies and vintage. They have their own resellers as well.
