So what I see as of today when I look at the Ripped Off show is no entries. So somewhere there are "hidden" entries? We don't get to see those? Do they pop up just before the end of the show or something?

The "hidden" entries are from past shows. There are no current Ripped Off entries.

I think those of us entering are still working on our entries!

Apparently. I had no idea we could hide show entries at all, I had always thought once a piece was in a show, that was it.

I'm interested but I still owe people from the past so maybe it isn't fair for me to participate.

I'll do it though for the show itself and to show newcomers how we do it. It's really fun. My blog is http://dianapottsart.com and http://diana_potts_art.livejournal.com

Who hasn't paired up yet?

Participating in this show involves a making committment to another artist.  Sometimes circumstances get in the way of completing things, but the old obligations would be my priority.

Heather & I are going to pair up, if this is the last one I'd like to participate.

This was always my favorite show but I've been feeling very overwhelmed lately which is why I didn't sign up sooner. :) I just hope I can pull off my idea now.

Since I've never seen a "Ripped Off" show, I guess I'll wait and watch this year. I think that's a great idea to send each other the artwork at the end!

I once did a collaboration with another artist. We each started an ACEO and then swapped and finished it. He style was so unique it was really fun and gave me a chance to step out of my normal zone. I guess this is kinda what the "Ripped Off" show is all about?

That's pretty much what it's all about Melanie. I still very much enjoy my artwork I got in exchange from Amanda and Torrie. I think my favorite part was getting some art from some of my favorite artists and it was really cool to see their take on mine.

It's fun to see how the other artist interprets your style and artwork without actually copying it.

So, I've already participated in this year's 'Ripped Off' with Amanda Makepeace (fun times -- thanks, Amanda!) -- but, with the deadline extension I'm going to go ahead and sign on for another round, teaming up with the lovely Tina Calderin (http://www.ebsqart.com/Artist/GalleryT/47764/) this time.... :-)
