Those are Royal Terns, Steph. Aren't they cute? The pelican is just a Brown Pelican. In Florida, I think they're alligators. But not 100% sure.

Being Simon is hard. 

But....

Amanda!  Your wonderful work is starting to take on a life of it's own.  I look at this and know it is yours before I even saw!  And, it is his expression that won me over.  I expect to see a salmon jumping out of my screen any moment!

Thank you! If I wasn't so cold right now I think I'd be blushing (it's freezing here in the South!!).

This painting was a commission from last year. I was given free reign - the only requirement being the black bear, so of course I had to get some stones in there.

Give me the day and I will announce the next challenge!
