Wonderful pumpkins Kevin!  Awesome Lisa, I always love your horns.  Way cool milkweed Olga!

That's the one and only Gitchee Gummi in the background yesterday!  Here's a view from off to the side...

Luscious color in your pumpkin shot Kevin.  Have all these pumpkin images been at the same place??

More band images, Lisa.  Nicely composed.  Is that another non-tuba?  (can't remember the name)  Or is it a French Horn??

LIke your image Olga and especially like the title!!

Beautiful, Steph.  What a gorgeous lake you have.  Is this near your house??  I love the sun hitting the cliff!!

Here is some Golden rod by the road....

Beautiful golden rod Carolyn!  I live 1 to 2 miles from lake Superior as the crow flies, though it's a 7 or 8 mile drive to get there by road.  Those two shots from yesterday and today were from the border of Wisconsin and Michigan UP shoreline, which is about 75 miles away.

Great job slinking around, Slinky!!........Almost didn't get it, Kevin.  At first I thought someone had just hung wire around the graveyard, then I remembered...it was Wed and that was Mr. and Ms. Slinky hanging around!

Great clock, Lisa.  The 21st century clock!  Thank you, Lisa.  I have been enjoying doing something different than the flowers.  I was running out of them in my yard!!  I enjoyed going around the county taking pictures.....my friend is a lot braver at driving than I am and we went down some wicked little one lane donkey trails, but got some great pics at the bottom!!

Lovely image, Olga.  I too like the clouds and the effect of the fuzzies against it.

Another from my trip around the county........this one is back to the flower images, but I like it against the rusted tractor seat!

Fun slinky Kevin!  Never a dull moment...Lisa, your time shot is big fun.  Reminds me I need a new phone, mine doesn't keep time.  Fun fuzzies Olga!  I love the daisy against the rusty tractor seat Carolyn!

Just up the road from me in Port Wing Wi.  People decide to build docks.   Gitchee Gummi has other ideas...

Thanks for the kudos on the photo!  Now for the rest of the story...I had ridden my scooter to Bayfield the long way and turned a 60 mile trip into a 100 and some miles just to get to Bayfield.  There were throngs of people in Bayfield so I spent my shore time in small towns on the way home.

Anyway...camera in hand, with the swivel swiveled and the lens cap off, I was trying to navigate the rocky shoreline to get that shot.  I don't know what the heck happened but I took a hard tumble.  Usually if i turn clutz I manage to fall gracefully but not this time.  I fell hard and smashed both my camera and my wrist on a big ole rock.  I couldn't even get up.  I was was sure my wrist was broken, but I was so happy my camera was OK.  It was a long painful 40 miles or so ride home.

The photos were worth it though.

Ouch Steph...the things we do to get the photo. I'm glad you and your camera are ok.

Kevin, I've never seen such a thing. Pretty cool though and great in B/W

Has anyone heard from Richard? Last I heard he wasn't feeling well. I hope everything is alright.

Very cool gourds Kevin!  Freaky for sure.  Lovely warm tractor shot Lisa!  I want to go sit in the sun there, we're getting robbed of fall.  It's snowing AGAIN...

Saxon Harbor, near the Wisconsin Michigan UP border.  You can see the red cliffs from the other day in the very background!
