thank you

<giggle> I totally get it and you totally deserve it! I will also whisper in your ear that the little girl part of me is just a wee bit envious and can't wait for a similar moment!

So just paint lots of stuff and then don't be afraid - all anyone can do is say you aren't ready yet or come back and try another time. I don't know how I grew such big cahoonies that I don't care if someone tells me my artwork sucks or not what's up with that? For all I know I am the only one who entered anything for that show but even that would not bother me because I can celebrate my good fortune of having been brave enough to put my work out there and been rewarded by getting to add the accomplishment to my resume.

I took the paintings in and saw the gallery. It is a nice little gallery with nice work in it. The owner is also an artist - Keven Milligan I think it is who does california scenery and small beach cottages -things like that. He does really nice work. I am anxious to see what else was chosen for the show. We will see that at the reception next saturday. The town is really cute and it seems there is a wealthier class of people who live there than in our area. I hope there is some interest in my work.

Heather I saw something that was a dog or pet painting show in your city. Let me come back with that link.

Ah poo the deadline for entering that one must have past. I will let you know if I come across any that are near you or right up your alley

Yes you do deserve it ,your paintings are beautiful,i so wish i could see something like this.
And i just have to ask,HOW DID YOU ESCAPE IN.?I've been trying for yearsThis is always a bad time of the year for me.
But an art show with wine sounds like sooo much fun,i would be giddy i'm afraid.
