Yes of course.

OK, Here are my pieces.

A piece of driftwood... a metal thing that I found. (I don't know what it was). One of those ball wheels that go to an office chair and a metal thing that I found in the street. OK. I think that qualifies me... :)

OK, I'm going to stir things up a bit.

First of all, I want to take part in this, but I don't want to compete for a prize. I just want to have fun. So, if its OK with everyone, I would like to take myself out of the running for the prize and just take part. Good. So, now that that's settled, that frees me to do this: I would like to DONATE a prize, with a catch. (I might be doing this because I feel guilty about neglecting the Mixed Media thread for so long, but who knows...)

IF we get more than 15 people to sign up for this challenge, I will donate a one-year US or Canada subscription to (the very expensive) Somerset Studio magazine to be given to the winner.

(If someone wins internationally, I will send you the value of a US subscription... the cost of an international subscription offends me)

This is a wonderful magazine that really goes into techniques and strategies for doing Mixed Media work. I pick them up at the magazine store all the time ($9 EACH issue at the store). I love their stuff. It comes out 6 times a year, but those issues are packed with great techniques. So, its a personal favorite.

John that is a super awesome prize to add and very awesome of you to do.

Every1 for real thank him, he so didn't have to do this!

Lets pimp this off on our Facebook pages, twitter ect please. We still have a few hours for sign up. We have 9 people so far (Krista what happened to Linda? She called and was on the site and said she was signing up, but I don't see her signed up?! I'm going to call her!)

Now it is time for me to get the photos of the prizes I am offering for 1st place (and as soon as we hit 15, I am going to add a second place to that!)

Ok, I've spoken with "Phoenix1954" She posted here earlier but the post didn't take in the thread. She can't get back on the computer this evening to repost she is doing this, so I am posting for her now. She'll officially post again in the morning or tomorrow afternoon.

I just wanted everyone to know she wouldn't be posting late, and she qualifies for the contest.

oh yeah...that metal thing in the upper right of your pic use to be a pulley...i have a couple up in the barn that have wooden wheels in them

Yay!

This will be great fun. I'm glad to see everyone taking part.

I'm not doing anything more than contributing to our community. It's nothing. People from this community have driven hours and hours to support me at shows, etc. Since I arrived at EBSQ, we've literally supported each other through births and deaths and everything in between. People have sought me out and fished me out of a perpetual state of lurking to make me active again. This is just my way of giving back some of what I've gotten.

I know there is a lot of talent out there for this, because I remember how clever the entries were for the Repurposed show (Robin was one of them with a license plate TV dinner tray, if memory serves) so I'm thinking this is going to be good. :)

oh REEEEEEEEEALLY? I LOOOOOVE "shopping" in barns. :) Go ahead and let me know if you ever want to clear out some of those space stealing items in your barn. Barn space is such a precious comodity. I like to help where I can.
