This is a commission based on a very popular old lithograph called "The Pharaoh's Horses". I probably saw it hanging in at least half a dozen old farm houses when I was growing up....always the round version, always with white horses and very muted colors. (There are several different versions of it, some more colorful.) As a "horse girl" I always loved it, so it was a pleasure to try to capture it in glass for my client.

This piece is 24" in diameter.

Thank you all for your comments! The original print lent itself nicely to being reproduced in glass, with its simple composition and dramatic lighting, so it was fun to do.
