You know, that idea has rolled through my mind. But I haven't given it really serious thought. The act of making them is so much like creating art, basically any artist can construct one of these, paint their art on it, and you have an amazing (and unusual piece). Even if it doesn't sound great, it still rocks.  And as I found out you can even incorporate sculpture into it.  With these guys, its pretty much anything goes.

Do I sound like an infomercial?

lol

I love your guitar as well Joe!

I was looking online (YouTube) and found this guy playing one---and I think you told me once that you CAN hook them up to an amp. and get it to be louder?

Yours is much more artsy looking than his. :) Link below idf you wanna see.

Ok, that guys guitar sounds way too good. I noticed he used a traditional electric guitar neck on his. I was doing a little more surfing after I watched your link, and its pretty amazing what they make these things out. I've seen a tin can ukelele, an altoid tin ukelele..an oil can...a cookie tin...

This guy looks like he made his own neck. You can hear how loud this is, and its accoustic.
