So has anyone gotten their original work back from Arthousecoop yet? I sent a prepaid priority box with mine, but haven't heard anything with regard to when I can expect them back. I know they also had an exhibit in the gallery, but that was over a month ago. I'm also wondering when the book (which I preordered) is expected. I emailed them and (no surprise) didn't hear back. I tried calling and it rang & rang & rang & rang, eventually an automated voice said to please enter my access code (?).

So far I'm not filled with overwhelming confidence in the professionalism of these people. Back when I sent mine in I'd misplaced the address, wrote them about 4 times (NO REPLY!!) and ended up getting the address from one of you.

That's not good.

I haven't gotten mine yet, but they are going to my previous address (unless USPS forwards them) so it's possible they are just setting over at the Condo. We have good tenants though so I just need to call and check.

I can't believe they haven't at least responded to your emails.

I know. Way back when I first signed up, they did answer one email - maybe I've exceeded the "one question per customer" rule, lol.

I could post something as a comment on their FB page but I'd rather not do that if I don't have to.

I would leave a message on facebook and go about any way you can possible get a message to them. Even you rather do private message try that....

They honestly are not acting very professional at all!

I don't think I can PM them - it's more like a fan page than a regular page. I'll give it a couple more days & then try that. I just want my paintings back!! (and the book I paid for, although I'm sure that's not ready yet).

I'll send them a message too.  There is a lady who wants to buy my regal frog painting from that .. now it was the canvas they  chose of mine to display.. I still haven't come up with a fair price to give her.

thanks Vicky for sending them a message.. I'll send one too.. I can't imagine we aren't the only ones that are wondering where our work is.

For some reason, I was thinking that they were going to exhibit these at another location at the end of this year....I have no idea where I'm getting that from though. I got my book in the mail from them last week I think.

Oh crap, now I'm concerned - I never got the book either.

The only other exhibit I remember was the one at the gallery itself in September. At the end of the year they're moving to Brooklyn, maybe that's what you were thinking?

I just emailed them again, put two addresses on there this time & expressed my frustration with the lack of response.

Here's their phone number for all the good it does:

(404) 584-7967

If I don't hear from them by tonight I'm going to post something on their facebook.

All I want is a reply, I don't think that's really asking too much.

You're right about the move. I think that's what I was thinking.
I know that I got my canvas's before most others did....so maybe I just happened to get my book first. I would also imagine it will take quite a while to re-package and send everyone's art back. I would think we would be seeing or hearing something about it by now.
Let me know what you guys hear.

I hope so Kimmy, but I still think a quick reply or any acknowledgment of my questions isn't asking too much. This is one reason I haven't signed up for any of their other projects.

Well I finally heard back, but only because I emailed this guy as well as the general questions address. Here's what he said:

quote:

Sorry you have not gotten a response. We have begun the process of sending back the canvas. It uhally takes a couple of months. You should get it in a couple of weeks. As for the book, you should have gotten it. I will look in to that and let you know!! Sorry again you weren't able to get in touch with us.

Steven peterman

So now I'm worried about the book & hopefully I won't have to prove that I ordered it - I know I did but I don't remember if I paid by cc (and if so, which one) or by paypal, or even when :(

Heather you say you haven't gotten yours yet either?

Luckily I found the charge on my credit card statement, I just emailed him back & said that I had paid for it by cc on 6/30.

Heather, did you write to this Steve guy too or just the generic questions address?
