I am amazed already at the beautiful work here.  I want to participate in these shows but I cannot participate until I come back from NC on 23rd April.  Maybe next time, though glass is one of my favorite subjects to include in a painting.

Here is my entry - it could use a few tweaks still but I am leaving out tomorrow morning and have been working on stuff for roy's business for most of each day for the past 2 weeks (well except when I sneak out for a bike ride or hike )

thanks I want to do one with the stars as well. I went through antique and junk stores to see if I could find any other things that would go with this kind of feeling and the colors and found a few things so I will probably try to do several still life paintings this year.
