Ok.. easy rules.   All media.   Show me your still life's that include a glass object.  I find glass so interesting to paint.  All the reflections and colors that can be seen in glass is so fascinating.

Lots of time..  Deadline will be March 15th, 2009.   I will send a SMALL gift to the winner.. so no thoughts of big winnings and being able to quit your job!   Just a small token of my appreciation in entering!

Entries should be new.. done in 2009!..   Entries limited to 3 per artist.

Heather, do we have to create this for the challenge or can we show existing stuff?
Also, how many can we enter? (This will probably depend on the answer to #1... )

Hey Muriel.. I edited the above statement.  I think entries should be new since we have almost 2.5 months to do it..  Hopefully that will give you procrastinators.. 2 months to put it off!.. and I'll bump this thread as a reminder on occasion.

Heather, I'm planning to do this but I won't likely start for a while, as I have other deadlines to meet and other things going on in my life right now.

BUMP!!!!

Mine doesn't count.. but if I'm the only one to do an entry.. I keep the prize!.. (small.. but still a prize!).. and if you know anything about me.. you may have a hint to the prize..

now come on and paint me or show me something!

I'll start a seperate thread for entries. I hope I'm not all alone in it

I will be entering.  I have photographed a still life, just need to do some digital fancies on it!

I won't drag it down if everyone else is able to finish but if everyone else is having trouble making the deadline I could use more time. I can't paint when roy is here and he was here for over a month this time which is nice for our relationship but bad for getting painting done. He just left out this morning.

I am looking at the set up I have ready to photograph today and thinking it still needs another element. I went through as many boxes as I could find that have my still life stuff in them looking for my crystal ball Jeanne gave me and can't find it The rest of my boxes are buried in the way back of our storage unit so I think I need to go out and try and find another item or two for what I have in mind to look right at some thrift or antique store.

How bout a deadline of Sunday April 5th?? Since there aren't any official entries yet and we are only 12 days away from the 15th.   I know a few people have mentioned possibly doing this so if that helps.. it works for me.

You're not supposed to see that. It is too old to fit the criteria and I posted it before I realized it. I didn't know it would stay after I hit the delete button. I have to do something else. Maybe the same one in pencil. Then again , I could try oils.

Yeah, it's exactly like that. Only completely different.
I've enjoyed just about as much of this as I can stand.
