Beautiful Kevin. Cute shot Lisa. I love the ferns too Carolyn. Gorgeous Olga! Lovely shot Steph. The light is perfect. I spent most of my life in Illinois with winter snow and cold. I love the high desert were I live now. I really don't miss the snow. Maybe one day I will....but I doubt it.

I'm cleaning up the studio. These are parts I use to make buttons and magnets and mirrors.

Great perspective Sam...they look huge, but I'm sure they aren't. Wonderful light as well.

Nicely composed and lit image sam !!

The fallen leaves have totally covered the surface of this stream here, no water can be seen at all.  A decaying board pokes through the foliage like a monolith.  That's it for my creative writing course

Thuds for Kevin and Olga today....gorgeous, gorgeous images

I'm gonna be a thread hog today! Chloe and I had a 6 month setting and these are the outside shots I  took. They just make me giggle.

No babies were frozen during this shoot!

Kevin, what a great image.  What really makes it is that little tuft of green atop the board!

Olga, I think your the Queen of Frozen Botanicals, here I will pass you my costume, just put some ice in it!  Great, great image!!

Aw, Lisa, I love it when you have a Chloe shoot!  She is such a charmer and that middle picture is just as sweet as it can be.  what a face!!

KEVIN...your AOTD!!!!!!  Congratulations!!........that is an amazing cardinal image.  Do the birds just come up and tap on the window when they are ready to pose?  You must spend hours just sitting to get such good images!

Nothing special from me, just a little still life experiment.....

Thanks Lauren...I put a pillow in the bottom of the little box thingie. She had so much fun bouncing around in it. I have plenty of shots with camera shake because I was laughing so hard.

How did I miss Carolyns pretty ferns yesterday and Olga's bittersweet!  Nice nice!!!  Heather, put your camera by the door!  Sam, way cool button stuff!  You don't have to miss snow since I'll have lots of pics of it well into May.  That's when I will get to see some green again!

Awesome floating leaves Kevin!  I love your icy deadhead Olga! OMG Lisa!  What a little doll!  Very nice!  Beautiful still life Carolyn!  Love it.  Well, I won't be going back to the park until I find soem snowshoes.  And with snow so deep I prolly won't go this close to the cliff edge either, since it's hard to tell where the edge really is.  I'd sure hate to step on a snow overhang!

Lovely image of that cliff, Steph.  Yes, you don't want to step on a snow overhang!  I would have thought that you already owned snow shoes!

Nice image, Sam.  You always find the nicest texture to put your thingies on and then get perfect lighting!

I guess it it my day to be early.  (can't sleep and am waiting for sleeping aid to work).  So here is an image that I dug out of my collection of CDs.  It is from the local county home which had been closed for years and allowed to go to ruin.  (County Homes were what they had before Nursing Homes.  I remember when we moved here seeing the people in wheel chairs sitting out front....it was more a warehouse than anything else).  Long closed down now and actually turned into a Hindu Ashram.  I took these pics when a friend let me tour the building.  The images were haunting...lots of peeled paint and empty rooms.

Here is a window I found intersting...with one of the views they would have had.    I will try to dig out more images from this.  It is interesting.
