Oh I didn't realize this was printed art too, that opens up a whole can of worms! I really love old comic art, but two of my favorites are Little Nemo and Krazy Kat. I have a great book that I picked up at the NY Comicon of "unknown" comic art (comic strips by lesser known artists), probably mostly from the 30's - 50's. I also absolutely love the really old Peanuts, back when the characters were unbearably cute (before it became the Snoopy show), in fact that's where I first got the idea for my daughter's name (Violet). For regular comics there's tons that I like but some that stand out are Swamp Thing (more for the story than the artwork though), Iron Man (I love the old Jack Kirby Iron Man), Nexus, Love & Rockets, Dr. Strange, old Fantastic Four, Tomb of Dracula, and (not a comic book but one of the funniest strips out there) Steven by Doug Allen. I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot still. Back to cartoons - I'd forgotten about Bugs Bunny until I saw John's post - I did love Looney Tunes when I was a kid but they've unfortunately been ruined for me over the last few years. I also liked the Marvel Superheros cartoon that was on in the 60's (esp. Captain America & the Submariner), Gigantor (how could I have forgotten Gigantor!), Tobor the Eighth man, Felix the cat, & Kimba the White Lion. I don't know if this counts but the movie Fantastic Planet is another of my favorites. I'm sure I'll think of more! For more modern cartoons I used to watch Sailor Moon & Pokemon with my son a few years ago, and of course I can't forget Adult Swim (Space Ghost Coast to Coast)! I had said I don't care for Disney but was overlooking Pixar - I agree with Amie about Wall-e, it was an amazing movie.
