I would think the wording of my question would indicate I'm aware of the various levels of the ocean and that "deep sea" has a specific meaning. That's why I was asking if the show was more about depth or about cephalopods. From your answer, it's obviously about depth. However, the show's title includes "deep sea monsters" which is almost an editorial comment, as there are hardly any animals actually called monsters, except those such as the Gila Monster, the desert lizard. So "monster" in this sense sounds as if fictional or unauthenticated creatures, such as Nessie of Loch Ness are permitted. Or perhaps prehistoric animals such as pleisosaurs. Is that the case? If not, perhaps deep sea "creatures" would be more accurate? Jackie
