If you have had stuff sitting in your etsy shop forever and are low on xmas cash - how about a swap? Just post on this thread that you are open to that idea and notate what you don't want to swap from your store - like everything but pendants or everything but paintings on canvas. If someone contacts you and proposes a swap and you are not interested in it you can just say "I am hoping for something that my granny will like and I don't think she can use anymore stuff to hang on the walls at her retirement home" In other words you don't have to swap just because someone proposes it and there are many legitimate reasons you can give for not wanting to swap.
The terms of the swap and the swapping are between the two parties though. Do your swapping privately. This is not an ebsq function. Ebsq is not responsible for deals gone sour. Ebsq is not responsible for enforcing a trade - so swap at your own risk, trade with someone you trust.
