Status: online 		This is a blue moon on my birthday.  How cool is that, to have that special event happen on your special day!  The day was made even more special by the fact that it was the day I was eligible to retire.

Status: online 		First light in below zero weather produces extra colorful light rays over the ice on Gitchee Gummi...



And lights on the dashboard are there to remind you of many things, not the least of which, how very cold it is out on the tundra!



But, if one is brave enough...or is it crazy enough, one can view some spectacular results for the trouble of braving the weather....

Sea steam at first light...
