Another wonderful bird image, Kevin.  I don't know how you manage to compose so beautifully....even the moss/weeds in the water are composed perfectly to catch the duck in flight!  Nice work.

Lisa that is wonderful.  I agree the angle is perfect and the sepia toning is really nice!

Wonderful moss trunk, Olga.  It looks as if I can just touch it.

Here is a birdhouse at sunset!

STEPH!! We keep posting at the same time!! Great mushrooms, does look like a party.  Composed very nicely!

I rediscovered one of my favorite places to shoot today.  I haven't been there in years, it's a bit of a drive for me, but well worth it! I didn't know what to expect so I just brought one camera with one lens. I'll be going back with my whole arsenal next time. The State has spent alot of money on improvments to the park including walking paths, bridges and observation decks.

I returned with some good images, a sun tan and two rather large tailfeathers from a great horned owl that I found along one of the trails.  This image here I captured on the way out of the park and the more I look at it, the more I really do like it. I don't photograph people anymore, lost my faith in most of them, but I totally connect with this one. Both of us were isolated, doing something we both enjoyed not another soul in sight... total bliss!
