LOL...at first I thought that was Lisa's shadow...then I realized she wasn't shaped like a hydrant!

Lovely lily C!

Nice shot Steph...you mean you don't like fish?

the only fall color so far...poison ivy!

Hi Carolyn, Hi Kevin: Thanks :)

I was standing under that bee-filled tree for about an hour, just listening to the hum of a million bees. It sort of sounded like something from a horror movie, but the more I listened, the more I liked it. It reminded me of Grand Central Station, with millions of bee tourists buzzing to and fro. I got dive-bombed only a couple of times, but the longer I stayed, the less they paid any attention to me. I should stand still and quit moving more often - it's a new experience for my constantly hyper/busy self.

Annie, you sound like me!  Stand still, what's that?  Olga, nice ivy!  no, I hate fish smell.  I hate seafood smell.  So much so that I could never ever sit at the same table as someone eating it.  I could never enter that building if people were eating what the sign says!  It wouldn't be pretty cause I'd be puking my guts out.

But, I could sit in the poison ivy when I did that and not be bothered by it.

Hi Annie, I don't know if I've seen the Bee & Flower soap, but I'll look next time I go. Carolyn, I have a frosted glass window that I do most of my table top photography on. Nothing special and no lights. Sometimes I use my Ott Light if it's in the evening...like tonight!

Nice desk shot Kevin. I love the horizontal lines. Nice hydrant shadow Lisa! Beautiful water lily Carolyn! Great sign Steph! Eeek Olga. Poison ivy. Beautiful.

Stacks of buttons...

These blue ones are quick and don't stand still for long, other dragonfly's have even landed on my lens or monopod as I'm walking around.

Nice buttons, Sam.  So you use a piece of frosted glass?  It is really nice and gives your images nice lighting...and a wonderful neutral background.  I will have to think of something like that.  Sometimes in PS I want to cut out an image ans with a neutral background like that it is a lot easier.

Kevin, what a gorgeous dragondly.  I am going to have to crown you king of birds & dragonflies!!!!!!

Lisa, what wonderful coloring in that old window.  Love the texture of the peeling paint.

Nice mushroom, Steph, although the poor thing looks like it has seen better days!

Here is mine for the day.  I wanted to put it up when we had a day of rusted images and could I find it then???  NO!!.......so here it is today.....

OMG, how did I miss yesterday????

One of my favorite places to go is the little mountain town of Julian just north east of San DIego. Some great winery's there, and the scenery!!!

From Julian looking out! I just loved how the pine trees framed this shot!

Joe it's framed perfectly gorgeous shot.....Lauren ugly, ugly birds Great shot though. They move so fast they are hard to catch with a cameral....Wonderful feather Sam. The textures of the pine needles and feather make for a nice combation.
