Yes, There is a huge market for fairy/fantasy type art, and alot of artist clammering for it. Usually fantasy patrons find an artist(s) and stick with them. (like most) Get ready for alot of ifs........... - If you can get a following with this new genre/style of yours, and keep with it (as with anything) there is a market [;)]
- If you can keep your old market alive (non fairy) and still produce fairy goodies - then you wont stress over it if things don't sell right away. So you can mature your new market with supply/demand. (not all your eggs in one basket)
- if you can do a human figure even in an expressionistic way that doesn't look like a 3 year old did it. (meaning patrons are not stupid expressionistic does not mean I suck but this is the best I can do - so I call it expressionistic.) Sounds harsh but judging by your cats, this is not or shouldn't be an issue.
- if you are talking about this style of your art:

I don't think I've seen any quite like it There are alot of people who do straight realism/illustrative. And they do it VERY well, just remember if you try to do something outside the box, it might take a little time. Give a couple pieces a try, never know.....unless you try. (but this is after only seeing your work this size)
