I had the weirdest experience this morning while shooting this image. It was actually just before I shot these seeds. I went to this spot I like behind Swarthmore College, along Crum Creek. I was walking along and shooting near the edge of the water at floating leaves, paying no attention but to what was floating by in the water. Well I stepped right onto an underground beehive, they took offence to this and came flying out at me, pretty pissed-off by the sound of it. I didn't no whether to run or drop my gear and jump into the creek. I just backed away slowly waiting for the first sting... and nothing, no stings just a bunch of swirling flying bees!! I kept backing up and they went back to their hive. Lucky, lucky me !!! " three peas in a pod "
