Finished a couple of fanarts this summer of my City of Heroes character. Now that I have my computer back, I thought I'd share them here. This first one was the first time I attempted to do some cell shading actually following a tutorial.

Second one is india ink and prismacolors.

Just a bit about my character in case anyone is interested - she has broadsword as a primary skill and invulnerability as a secondary. She's kind of a nut and part "robotic" as she got her powers by replacing her heart and various body parts with parts from the Clockwork villains in the game - she did this because of a bad case of indigestion which she assumed was heart failure.

The character with her in the first picture was one somebody I met on dA made up for a comic independently from the game - he just looked like the kind of cyborg she would crush on, so I did that piece as a gift for the creator of that character.

very nice on those legs/weapon on the second one. You did a great job on that - really gives a sense of urgency/depth

Ditto. Plus the cell shading on the first one is good, I can see that as you do more the fanarts will be excellent! Love the sky!

Kewl.. But the hair should be a bit sharper and the spikes neater.. have you tried digital art?
