Gorgeous C...the (railroad ties?) as a background sets it off so beatuifully. I meant to get a fern for the show as well, just didn't get around to it in time

Olga....I will be glad to look at one of your Kitty pictures everyday. I enjoy the heck out of them. All so cute (you also do a great job of composing the shots) Todays shot is adorable!

Thanks everyone. It has been very warm here already and it's 90+ during the day. The adobe does get really hot.

I love your boat Steph! It would make a great lawn ornament! Lovely leaves Kevin. The red and green are a wonderful combination. Oh Lisa! I love your shot today! You captured the depth perfectly and I feel drawn in. Clap, clap, clap! The ski hill shot is terrific Steph. I love the red parts of the posts. Sleeping Wilber is adorable Olga. Beautiful fern Carolyn. The leaves are so delicate.

I went abstract today. It's a hinge on my front door in silhouette.

Good Wednesday everyone. I'm running a little late.

Sam love that shot, and hello Pix (I'm going to shorten your name a little cause I'm to lazy to type out the whole thing). Your old cat is gorgeous and I love the close up of her face, great shot. Our photo master Kevin started this posting a photo a day thing the first of the year and we have had a wonderful time ever since. I'm glad you are joining us, and I look forward to more photos from you and your new DSLR.

Kevin that poor desk...lol. It's studying the charm of an old abonded building. But man it's gonna get hot sitting under that air conditioner the exhaust can be brutal...  Great fun shot.

A "2fer" today

Interesting lighting Sam!  Greetings Pixelliste and welcome to EBSQ and the photo a day!  It's a very fun feature of the forum and I hope you play along from now on!  I love your kitty shot and it's nice to see someone who is farther north than I am! Hey Kevin & Lisa I love desk and hydrant day!  The desk looks comfy in that spot and Lisa, I love the twin hydrant in the backround.

When I was at the marina the other day there was an auction.  They were auctioning off boats and just about everything including this old truck.  Geeze, I have 2 old trucks in about the same shape as this one but this old orange one went for 650.00.  I couldn't beleive my  ears!

Hello and Welcome Pixelliste !!   (sorry I missed you last night.)

I just checked out you website, you are an extreamly talented artist ( Steph, you have to see the Horse Portraits, Gorgeous!! ) Lyssa certainly is a beautiful cat!  Looking forward to seeing more of your photographs Pix.

Lisa, Hydrant Wednesday's are always so much fun. I love the corner street scene... small hydrants in the front, tall ones in the back... like taking a grade school class portrait

Steph, nice shot of the auction, but tell me how much did you get that huge boat for ???? and what are you going to name her ??

Thanks Carolyn! I have another door shot for you today! No sqeaks Olga.

Hi Pixelliste. I love your photo!

Desk and hydrant day....YAY! Your desk looks like it's loitering, Kevin. Your twin hydrants are wonderful Lisa. They look a bit like security guards. Great shot Steph! I love "shoebox cat" Olga. I call my guy "Cat in a Box" when he does stuff like that.

Here's another shot of my door......

Welcome Pixelliste!!  Love, love the cat image.  I like the composition which shows off the cat face so well.

Kevin there is that desk again.  And, looking good.  It is always lined up with more lines.

Lisa, love the hydrants!

Steph, that is a great pic of a boat....I know your talking about the auction, but man that boat is really huge!

Olga, Love Shoebox Lucy.  So cat-like!  Makes me smile.

Here is mine before the day is over.  Flowers, what else?  These are more of the Irises blooming in my yard.  They are gorgeous this year. (and no wind yesterday!)

Kevin, were you laying on the ground again?  I saw a mushroom in my yard the other day, by the time I got my camera it was dog trampled So don't have any mushrooms. Fantasic perspective, great shot Kevin.

So I will do a a sunset. One of the most gorgeous ones I've seen. We had a storm the other night and the sky turned all kinds of colors.

Lovely mushroom, Kevin.  It has such great texture and then the tree behind it sets it all off so well.  Nice job laying on the ground to get this!

Lisa, what a sunset!!  Those are some amazing colors!!

I will have my computer down for a day or so to have a little work on it...hopefully the last for a while.  So here is today's and tomorrow's.......

First is the PPG building in Pittsburgh (the Pittsburgh Plate Glass building).  A bit of urbanscape from me....

And here is another from Niagara on the Lake (I took LOTS of pics while up there) I loved the entrance to this building covered in Ivy......this is a bit of foreign urbanscape...LOL!
