Time is running out to enter May's shows!
Participating in EBSQ's online shows is one of the best perks of membership. It gives you a chance to challenge yourself (or dust off that already perfect piece), you get extra exposure for your art, and you have the chance to win both cash and the accolades of your peers and site visitors.

Entering online shows is easy!
To add an entry to any show:
- Upload your art (or search your artcase) for the piece you'd like to enter.
- Select "enter show" from the pull-down menu at the right hand side of this item (the default says "edit") and click the "go" button.
- Find the show you wish to enter and read over the prospectus to make sure your piece meets all of the requirements. If you feel you're good to go, click "enter."
- That's it; you're all done!
Artists may submit up to 5 pieces per show.
Don't forget: You can still "chip in" toward the prize money for each of these shows. 100% of the funds goes directly to the winner of the shows to be chosen by YOU next month. Our top kitty thus far has been $186 for the "Nude in Art" exhibit in February 2008. Imagine the potential if even a few more members just chipped in $5 toward the final prize. Please help support your fellow members and help us take EBSQ shows to the next level!

Subscription payment notification glitch at PayPal
It has come to our attention that some of you have received more than one PayPal receipt confirming your recent payments. In fact, we've heard from a few unfortunate souls that they've received over 500, and one member reported receiving at least one every 15 minutes! The folks we spoke with at PayPal confirmed that this is a known issue with PayPal's notification system that they're currently working to resolve, and that you have not be billed more than once, just notified about the same transaction over and over again. Although we're not responsible for this issue, we are working with PayPal to rectify this situation for our customers.
If you were one of the unlucky few who are being "blessed" with a constant stream of PayPal notications, we do have a contact number for you at PayPal if you're interested in adding your case to their file: 1-888-221-1161
