Whew!  I am impressed and almost embarrassed to put mine up here.  There are some seriously good works here!!

Here is mine.  I was inspired to do this when I saw the work that Cel posted of artist Xiaoze Xie.  I loved the folded magazines that he used.  I made the same attempt, but I am afraid I lost control and the magazines are not the focal point they should be.  Got carried away by my other inspiration.....all those Stills with Pineapples!  So here it is.....
(also, couldn't help including some Polish Pottery from my other inspirations!)

Carolyn, that is lovely!  Each element is beautiful, and they work together splendidly!  I especially like how you did the magazines.

Thanks everyone...........Lisa, I do have to admit that it started as a Photograph taken on my island in the middle of the kitchen with hubby holding a backdrop!!  Taking it from a photo to this was digital.

In spired mostly by Renoir's Strawberries: .  I chose it because it was so light and airy and bright and outside it is so dark and blaaahhhh.  Just wanted to do something simple and bright as well.  However, the more I worked, the more I kept making it daaaarrrrrk and moody, like the Heda painting I had first chose but then turned away from, lol.     Can't escape the dark and moody!  At any rate, this one was fun because I tried something new: grisaille and very light color washes.  I think I'll do another one like this at some point.  Thanks for the challenge, Heather!

Yay! it worked! This is wonderful, Beth, worth the wait!
I particularly admire the composition.
I see what you mean about the layering in your inspiration painting, and that is interesting, but I think I like yours better!
And your wheat field painting is also wonderful. Good thing I went and looked!
