Has anyone tried the Mini ETSY feature and posted it in your blog?  I tried to copy the code to myspace, but it isn't working.  I put it in as blog entry.....is that not right?  Somewhere in profile maybe?  <confused>

the link to it is at the very bottom of the My Etsy menu on the left.

You choose it to show items from you shop (or items from your faves).

Tell it how many to show.

It will generate the code for you to copy and paste onto a website (and it's auto updating so you don't have to change it when soemthing sells ect...)

It will act as your own personal treasury with your own items in it - flaunting your stuffs whereever you place it on the web.

Here's an example:

How do you direct people to that? Do you put a link in your website? Or are there other things you do that pull people into your blog,,,like keywords or how does that all work?

Gad Kris,,,you are turning into a technical Dear Abby,,,you ought to have a little paypal donation link on the bottom of your avatar for people to contribute a buck a question,,,you'd be able to afford the high speed internet connection you need.

Donna, I am seeing a new biz for Kris,,,she can have a link to "ask Jeanne" it can be a one year subscription for 12.00 a year for 10 minutes of kris's time in answering questions per month,,,that would be a real bargain for the asker,,,seriously technically challenged people could pay 25.00 a year for 10 minutes of questions and 6 walk throughs.

I would sign up,,,then I would not hesitate or feel guilty for asking her so much and if I felt I was exceeding my quota I would bump it up to the technically brain dead level at 50.00 a year

This is the eBay version someone was asking about. I use both the Etsy mini and the eBay one on my blog.

Oooh, I added one of these.  :)  It's here:  http://www.carmenkeys.com/etsy.html
Though I just realized it only shows like 4 items at a time!  Is it supposed to be like that?

I think it will show up to 12.

You get to choose how many colums, then how many items per.

and it always shows the most recently added stuffs (after your featured items)

Going to look at your page.

<edit> it could be because you have 6 items it's glitchin on you - I don't know what it does in a case like that. Choose something like 2 colums with 3 items and see if that works</edit>
