Thanks! :)  The white mouse is done in a different wool and it is easier to get more detail with that wool. Now needle felting purists would say that I need to keep needling until there are no stray fibers sticking up at all which, as you can imagine, is a lot of needling. Not that I mind that it's just that I'm not convinced that on meeses and hedgehogs that the smooth smooth look is really appropriate.

Lil White Meese needs a bit more work before I post her on Etsy, but I'm pleased with her! :) And have been looking for sources for wool roving. JoAnn's is not the cheapest and they had almost no selection. Have bookmarked a couple of good sources.

Thanks!! Wish I had had softer wool in which to make him. :)

Okay - my first tiny tiny piece - not so sucessful but I learned a lot - also different wool (and better color) would probably make a difference as well.

I missed this thread until now - saw these beasties in your etsy store.... just love them, they are sooo cute!  I am sure people would want a whole collection of them, I know I do but I do not collect things anymore.... at least I don't think I do.....

As I am reading through I thinking each one is cuter than the last,,all so cute. I think the bunny is my favorite. You are really getting very good at that stuff.

Thanks!!!

I've ordered some wool roving so maybe I'll have the right stuff or colors before too long.

Did this today:

Would be better with a smoother wool but at least I learned a bit more about making small - hardest things are the ears.
And have managed to break two felting needles now - guess I've passed my intitiation! LOL!!!

and here's Ketchup:

He still needs some needling and if I had had a nice wool blah blah blah. :)  Not too shabby for my first dog. :)

Thanks! :)

The dog was based on a pattern so I don't think I will offer him on Etsy. I think it is better if I just offer beasties that I totally made out of my head. :)

I think I will offer "Lucky Lapins" ;)

Oh my God! I'm still gasping from the cuteness.  Did your new wool come it? Are you planning something special with it?

Thanks!! Yes, my new wool did come and eventually I'm planning on doing a dragon but for now I'm still learning.

Tiny Tiny Tiny!!! :)

I think I need to needle all of these a bit more (need to get some more needles too) and perhaps trim them a bit too but they're nice and soft and cute! :)

I like the kind of bunnies that have big white tails. I think they are known as Peter Cottontails. LOL!

Those are really sweet Jeanne!
