I do use a tripod as I'm not steady enough otherwise. In the craftroom I have the forest setup on top of a chest of drawers - hung an artist proof of one of my paintings behind everything and used driftwood, silk plants and needle felted shrooms. On either side of the set up I have two gooseneck lamps. The bulbs are supposed to be light corrected but they're not any fancy bulbs. I made defusers for the lamps by making cardstock collars to go around the shade and covered the front with tracing paper.

Beyond that I have my camera on autofocus - place the square in the middle of the view finder on the area I want focused, press the button to only half - move the view to where I want it, press the rest of the way down on the button to take the photo and HOPE! lol!!!

My bro told me to set my F-stop down from what I was using - I do think that helps but I would never have known about that without him telling me. My camera does so many things that I don't even know about!

There are lots of things I can't do - so I make a point of not doing them!! :) Makes the things I can do look all the better!!

I will! :) I need to make some more reindeer antlers for the other Prittens AND they also want misletoe headbands too!!

I'll have to find some green pipecleaners to do that.

I might get her relisted tonight with a couple others that are ready to go.

THanks! :)

I ended up making reindeer headbands for all three that are up for auction right now!
Two have bids, all have watchers - a total of 11 watchers on the 3 auctions.

Put up two Prittens for auction just now - Believe that you have seen one of them before but not with his new eyes:

Thanks!!!

The forest needed something extra when I rearranged it all - so I made the mushrooms.

The lady that one the Fleur auction asked if one of the mushrooms might accompany Fleur on her trip to her new home - lol! I made her one, they're pretty simple to do! :)

THANKS!!!

I've learned that Friday Night and Saturday Morning in the midst of high holiday shopping and activities are SLOW! Things should pick up soon.

Found a seller on Etsy that makes "faery doors" to be put out in the garden (but must be taking in during colder weather). Thought those were neat - I probably should start making some IF Pritten houses! I did buy a hampster house (edible no less) that looked to be about Pritten size but I haven't made use of it yet in any photos.

I'm sort of itching to find a space where I could set up a much larger forest that would still be photographically useful. lol!!!
