I am working on projects in the book Exploring Textile Arts for the month of June. Today I worked on some free-motion text writing for an upcoming series. I have a big post with lots of pics over here...

looking for some feedback. I think with practice I can get better at this... but it will still have a very raw look to it. Ultimately it will be blue thread on blue fabric and form the sky behind a figure. The idea is for it to be background that you would need to work at to read, but that does NOT detract from the other parts of the piece. (Can you read it?)

Hi Cynthia!  I can absolutely read it!  I think this could be a really great addition to some of your pieces.  I also read your triptych post and blog the other and didn't have time to post something meaniful, I am sorry, but I really liked that, too.  You are so creative, and I love the way you aren't afraid to push the envelope.

ETA: see what happens when I type fast?  LOL

Very different, very creative and very interesting.  You are certainly making progress on the text - waiting to see a finished piece with all your thoughts put together in one cohesive whole.
