Hello friends,

I was visiting a photographer friend in CT and we went to his friend's house to hang out for a bit. I saw this window and just couldn't pass up the shot. What do you think?

Mike

Very nice Mike, I like the repetition of the lines and objects in the composition.  As Lauren mentioned, the lighting is lovely.  I want to run my hand over the wood and the the candleholders.  All in all, very soothing.

Yes, very soothing.   I like the composition and the brush of yellow seen through the window.  Nice.  BTW, where were you that you still have pansies blooming?  I am jealous as I look at my snow covered yard....

Hi Carolyn,

The shot was actually taken in the summer in CT.  I wish it was still warm here in Maine. My yard is snow-covered as well and I'm getting to the point in my life where it really wouldn't break my heart if I never had to shovel again. San Diego sounds real good if only it wasn't for ALL THOSE PEOPLE. I hate huge crowds and big cities but the weather in San Diego when I lived there back in 1984 was perfect!

Good day! Stay warm!

Mike
