Any takers??

I'll give a decent time frame for any one interested.  Last time I did this.. WOW.. some AMAZING entries..    But I think its time again..

Who's interested??   I am sure I have something up my sleeve to send as a prize to the winner!  What could it be??

I'm thinking with enough interest.. a deadline of mid February??  A valentines day deadline??

thoughts??  who's interested??

Oh I just pm'd you about this. I could not commit unless the deadline was the end of february. If everyone else can do by mid february though don't hold up the challenge on my account.

Oh this is exciting!

Maybe the theme could be an object common to all the arrangements... like a water glass or a particular kind of fruit?

If it's the end of Feb, I might be able to actually participate!

I kind of feel like that is too limiting. I would rather you make the subject broader like "glass objects" or "things from your kitchen cabinets" or something like that. I just don't have much stuff unpacked here and what kitchen glasses I do have unpacked are not anything I want to paint

What if it was more like--all pieces should include a glass object? I was just throwing water glass out there since it's probably something most people have. I just thought that by making the theme the inclusion of one object common to everyone, the theme would be pretty open--you could emphasize or downplay the glass (or whatever) as much as you like, or include it in any setting you wanted (could be very traditional, kitchen objects, etc or could be less traditional, put in an arrangement with a collection of antique brass knuckles). :P

I agree about painting glass, though, it's fun!

a broad "include a glass object" works for me..  glass.. whether its a water glass.. or glass from a window.. is pretty broad ..  Ya'll like that?   Hey Heide.. I remember you had that glass ball that you got from Roy and you showed here eons ago.. that would be way cool in a still life!  (if i remember right you said it was to be for a still life)

I'll wait for more input on this..

I do think it should be broad and like the idea of glass.  A still life including a glass object sounds good.

the 28th is my birthday observed.  I will expect all entries to be arrangements of glass spelling out "happy birthday lisa"
