My next painting project in Photoshop is going to be one of my own design. I want to see if I can use what I learned in that first project to make my own digital painting.

Here's the sketch I'm going to use for the base image. I've also created 3 brushes in Photoshop that I'm going to use for tropical leaves. I could have drawn them into the sketch but I was feeling lazy.

Wish me luck! I will probably work on this here and there over the next week, in between other creative ventures.

Thats cute,i love tree frogs,some have such bright colors and the poison ones seemto be the prettest

Christi thanks for noticing!

Oct 9 is my appt with new specialist--fingers crossed!

Carolyn, no I sketched this in pencil, then went over it in pen. I was going to have my mother scan it at work since we don't have one here, but I forgot so I just photographed it and tried to correct the color/contrast. Works for me since it will just be painted over in Photoshop.

The question is, does anyone recognize this froggy?
