The mailman's bike outside my mom's apartment building on a rainy day.

Apologies for the cut corner. I straightened the photo but wanted to keep the reflection of the bike's front wheel.

Great theme choice. Here's my entry (or at least one of them). I took this photo from a Ferry on my way to Calais, France. Not the greatest photo but it still makes me think of my High School Literature class,  reading a poem - the title escapes me now - about the White Cliffs of Dover. That seemed so faraway at the time - like another world. Needless to say seeing it for real was awe inspiring.

This is great, Amanda! I took that ferry many, many times, and those cliffs are always an awesome sight.

A typical landscape in Champagne-Ardenne, France. Grapevines all the way up the hills, and then at the top, the native forest where you can find mushrooms, wild strawberries or lily-of-the-valley, depending on the season.

Yeah, it's exactly like that. Only completely different.
I've enjoyed just about as much of this as I can stand.

Of course I wouldn't choose my own, but I thought I'd throw this on - this is the Auckland Harbour, NZ.

I'm glad you enjoyed Muriel!

Thanks to Simon for starting such a fun topic!

I can take you to Stockholm this morning!

Old Town

Downtown Stockholm

Umm, no matter where you go, there you are!  Count the Mickey D Golden arches!    I see 6 plus the word MacDonald's  in bright lights.

I don't have a clue as to what was going on here but the couple was quite the spectacle.  It seemed like it might be a wedding.

I was there for work and spent my weekend off wandering around aimlessly all by myself.  It was a great time!

Ooh, awesome Stockholm photos, Steph! I was only there for an afternoon, and it was raining, but I had fun anyway... You made me think of looking in my non-digital pics...
Don't you love the colors of the houses in Stockholm?
