Ohh oooo How many entries allowed Steph??

My first one, not really water, but it reminds me of the ocean.

"Ocean Wave"

Materials: Aquamarine, Amazonite, Blue Lace Agate, Denim Lapis, Clear Quartz, Fiber Optic Quartz, Barrel Clasp

This fun, cool necklace is loaded with gemstones all the colors of an ocean wave. Cool, refreshing, fun!

I am currently involved in a local project to tell the story of the "Keeper of the Well". I will post about the project later, but this is the well in question. It's up on the slopes of Mt Charleston. It was originally put there to water cattle, but when a law was passed to ban grazing on the mountain, the wells (there were several) fell into disrepair (shot at, mainly... ). A local man thought the wildlife had come to depend on having water available, so he took on the task of keeping one of the wells going.

sorry to hijack but it just hit me like a bolt of lightning that these types of paintings you do, Tracey, where you are showing your kitties doing their everday kitty things remind me so much of Mary Cassatt's paintings of domestic life with mothers and children...don't know why, they just do....ok, back to water...

A pattern shot of the super clear water of Lake Tahoe (yup, you're looking at a depth of several feet right there)
