Some new rules for this year:

Members do NOT have to swap (but swaps are welcome)
If you're an EBSQ Artist who doesn't want to directly participate, but is open to being ripped, you can give permission here. We'll let you know who's ripping you off.

Yes!!!

I do want to participate. I don't have a partner yet.

Anyone who wants to be my partner should know:

1. I'm willing to swap.
2. My ripped off piece will be digital art and I'll be giving you a 5 x 7 print, matted.

I was thinking it might be fun to rip off Vicky, if she is open to it and I can find the time. It's in July, right? It would be a challenge for me to try to paint something Wibbley in my own style, ha. I might be open to swapping, but I would lean toward just selling or keeping the piece. That way we wouldn't need partners to do the rip, as long as permission was granted from the rip-ee.

I am also open to anyone ripping off my work, if they are so inclined.

That would be fine, you're more than welcome to do a rip of my work. I can't afford a swap this year, I need every cent I can make at this point so I'm glad that you'd rather sell too. I'm not sure if I'll even be able to find the time to do a rip of yours either so I'm glad that we can do it this way now, much less pressure. I'll try though!

Thanks, Vicky! I like the no-pressure approach, too.

Amanda, I hope you find a partner. There's still plenty of time. I bet others will sign up before July rolls around.

I'll play....

I will swap or not, doesn't matter to me.
If I swap it will be a photo, probably be a matted 8x10 or in that size range.

Ha haa. Thank you so much! I wasn't sure what the reaction would be. I'm really intrigued by 3D objects lately. (Did you see my penguin?)

HAHA I love it!! I had one of those horses too, also in black & white (my sisters was gold & white).

I love the description too, you did your research!!

You're giving me some ideas here... :)

Glad to hear you're getting ideas. And glad you like it, too!

The horse's original (factory) color was reddish, sorrel-like. But I like paints better, so I went with a black and white paint. I think it makes it more interesting. Oh yes, and the research...! I think when it comes to ripping your work, the description is as important as the work itself, so yup, I did some reading.

I paired up with Amie....here is my Rip of her Purple D'oro Lily. I thought the most important part of her image were the stamen....so I focused this image on that. I took this image in my yard, but I don't have a Purple lily, so had to settle for a red one!
