ORIGINAL: KingDavid I guess another option would be to make matte prints & alter each one differently. There's a word for that ... I'm just not sure what it is. I've seen professional artists do it. I saw a guy doing it at Art Expo last year right at his booth. He was just highlighting certain areas of the print, in essence, making an original. Jasmine Beckett-Griffith does that (hand embellishing) with her ACEO's, and she gets a good price for them. She has a bunch up now, most with good prices from the $20's - mid $40's - I took a quick look at her closed auctions & saw some had gone into the $50's, I'm sure there have been others that went even higher. Of course she has an enormous following as well as phenomenal marketing skills so that might not work for everyone, but it's something to aspire to! David, do you belong to any of the Ebay ACEO groups? I have for years but never really participated (I think I've only listed maybe two ACEO's that weren't for Nibblefest), but I'm planning on participating more (I hope, I confess that place overwhelms me a bit).
