Hi - I'm new and trying to learn all of this!! I'm SO glad to be a member and look forward to being a part of EBSQ. Now, I just need to learn all of this and it took me almost 30 minutes to get here! About me - I've taught high school English for the past 28 years - anything from basic to advanced placement. Art has been my surviving factor! I will retire in two years and pursue art full time. I am for the most part self-taught but I've taken two week long classes with Maxine Masterfield who is the greatest! I also love nature printing. I have a couple of pictures on eBay at the moment and I've been accepted in a number of juried shows - one of which I received an honorable mention. I love word art (it's the English teacher in me). Again, I'm glad to be a member.

Brenda, I'm glad you posted! We've been looking for your new account since you joined (I think we had a mismatch with the email address provided by paypal) We have you up and running now, and we'll drop you a line via email with directions for your new portfolio.

Cheers!
-Amie

Hi Brenda!  Always happy to hear new voices.  Don't be shy!  Jump down to some of the member forums and join in.  Coffee Talk is a great place to get to know people, and Critiques is always interesting.  See you there!

Hey Brenda, welcome. Love your work, the colors are fantastic.

English teacher huh? Please don't pay any attention to my grammar or spelling. Just pretend you don't notice

Welcome, Brenda!  Nice to see a new face here.  Come and join into the member forums.  (and don't pay any attention to my run-ons and fragments...can't write any more!)

Thank you to all who welcomed me! This is such a wonderful adventure!! Please don't be concerned about the English teacher profession...it's more humbling for me to be around such great artists!!!
Thanks again!!
Brenda
