Welcome to a special "on location" at Disney World edition of an Image a Day !!

We leave this Sunday morning, should be in our room by 2:30pm today but, I wanted to share an image of Lin's nails I got for her as a 15th anniversary present. We are staying at the Animal Kingdom Villa, I think her nails will be a hit!!

Oh I hope not, it's been 14 years since I've been to Disney. I'd have a tough time coming up with the images.

"Wicked" nails Kevin....I hope you have a blast.

Great shot Muriel. I have one similar somewhere.

Oh, WhoooHoooo!!  Disney it is!!.....this is exciting, Kevin.  I hope you have a wonderful time!!

Love the nails....and the hat!  she is going to look great!

Hi Muriel!!  Great collection of balloons.  I don't have any Disney images.  The last time I was there was 20 years ago...or more!

Beautiful, Lisa.  Yes looks like an old west postcard.  Do you have Buffalo around you?  I love the sepia tone and the edging.  Are you going to enter that in the two tone show?

That is a perfect Fall image, Olga.  Love the wood with the leaves on it.  Very Fall!

We have had some great sky days.  This was just a couple of days ago.  In the Wal-Mart parking lot...camera in hand!

Olga, I love the colors of fall and you really just made me want to go for a walk in the woods today.
Gorgeous Carolyn! Its so sleepy and comfortable looking. Makes me wish I was just sitting in a porch swing with some coffee.

That is fun!  We used to have a Buffalo farm here, outside Clarion.  Hubby almost drove off the road when he first realized what was in that fenced field!!  Gone now :(

Happy anniversary and awesome shot Kevin! Lyn has very beautiful hands and the nails and cap are awesome!  I am looking forward to more stuff from Disney!

Very fun balloons Muriel!  The only Disney I have is lying in a box somewhere on hard copy from a Disneyland trip in 1991.

Awesome buffalo Lisa!  Funny, I commented last week on a fence you posted and mentioned it looked strong enough to keep buffalo!

Nice firewood and leaves Olga!

Pretty sky Carolyn!  yes it is important to have that camera with cause you just never know what you will see!

Well, in a far far contrast from Disney...I ran across a big old railroad trestle being dismantled down at an old ship unloading dock.  It had a lovely contrast against the clear blue sky so I rode my scooter down to investigate.  Yes, I was able to ride my scooter in November in the northwoods!  It was unbelievable fun.

I took lots of pics of rotting railroad trestles and other assorted goodies from days of old.  And...you just never know where you will find a boat being stored for the winter!

Beautiful shot, Steph! With the industrial structure and the light, it looks like WPA painting from the 30's!
Wonderful sky, C. The light pole actually makes it more interesting because it makes you wonder where it is, ad it balances out the composition. Good eye!
Olga, your nature close-ups are always to die for, and this one is no exception.
Great shot, Lisa, and nice treatment of the image. It looks perfectly old.

Steph excellent water fall, great exposure and comp. The falls really stand out and give the impression of movement. Great job.

C I love, love, love the lines in the background. The gently rolling hill is wonderful. The fence line in the front brings it all together. Very nice. Is that some sort of grain? I've not seen a field like that.
