We're revamping our testimonial page to include a lot more feedback from you guys (which links back to your portfolio, so it's extra exposure!)

Have something nice to say about EBSQ?

We want to hear about:
  • what prompted you to join EBSQ
  • what you love about EBSQ
  • in what way does EBSQ make your life easier?
  • how do you use EBSQ?

No, you don't need to include all of the above--those are all just starting points. But we'd really appreciate some feedback from you about what we're doing right and why our community rocks.

Feel free to post here, or drop us a line at info@ebsqart.com

Thanks for your consideration!

I am grateful for making the decision to join and become a full member of EBSQ. After seeing many artists on ebay and other art sales sites, I viewed their work as very professional. Since I've joined I've been able to take advantage of all the services that have helped me show myself in a more professional light as well.

The kudos are looking great! (and this page is going to be redesigned somewhat so it will be a bit sexier in the future)

Thanks all--and if you want to jump in, the more the merrier!

I definitely want to write one, but it will likely be a couple of days or so, okay?

I joined ebsq years ago while trying to forge an online presence for my paintings....it was such a reasonablly priced and easy to use format that I couldn't resist.....I still use it as my painting website...

what I wasn't prepared for was the wonderful artists' community that I was joining....I'm a bit isolated where I live so it's very important to be able to have a place like this to go to.  The forums are the best... warm, caring individuals who share information generously and are always there for support in good times and bad....I can't do without my daily(well, several daily actually)dose of ebsq friendships!

the words "self-representing artists" under the ebsq-logo on auctions of several artists prompted me to have a look at the ebsq-site, and .. I found a huge multitude of artworks, so different, so various, and above all without any apparent rule ! not one single sterile or affected tone, no academism ! freshness, open air !
I joined, and discovered an incredible community, and I plunder shameless in there whenever I need help or comfort !

I found EBSQ while browsing art on E-bay. I joined for the portfolio and templates. What I found is a home in the art world. Kind, caring staff, these peeps want to see you succeed. An outstanding, intimate, diverse community. Questions...ask a seasoned professional. They are very happy to help. Friends, an abundance of fun, goofy artists. Inspiration, artistically I would be lost without EBSQ.
In short from someone with no experience in the art world, EBSQ has been and continues to be invaluable.

May I edit your last sentence to read "...with no previous experience..." ? You certainly have experience now!

Hi gillie, hi blumoo and others, if you even remember me! Yea, I'm still alive, just had some stuff going on and haven't been here in a reallllly long time.

All the new people won't know me, but in answer to your testimonial questions:

I joined EBSQ after the tragedies which occurred on 9/11, and discovered a new community, a world I stepped into and didn't want to leave. I learned that art could be cooperative, especially when we were raising money for a good cause, instead of being competitive. I learned the true use of trout, knowledge which I'd been seriously lacking, and participated in experiences I will never forget. EBSQ became a part of me, and I loved being useful as an advisor, and finding artists I never would have made friends with otherwise.

I love this group because of the people, not just the tools. Sure, you can get tools almost anywhere, but EBSQ has heart, and passion, and a desire to change the world into a more beautiful place, one living room at a time. Art here isn't just a piece of paper, it is who you are, a continuation of the creative process which still evolves with every brush stroke, every piece of glass, each scrap of cloth you touch and breath your soul into.

I don't believe there's much I can add to that, guys, but I dropped by to say I miss you and I'm sorry I dropped off the face of the earth for... well, I have no idea how long. They seem to believe I'm stable now, and the doctors have hidden the trout.

I love the ebsq blog and I love my yahoo page and now that ebsq is on my yahoo page, I am absolutely delighted!
great idea about the free membership. It got my attention and I didn't know I could put it on my own homepage.
What a great promotional idea!

Just think ... you start a new job ... you're fresh out of school & thrown to the wolves. You meet a fellow worker & they mentor you along your way to success in the company. That's what EBSQ is ... a personal mentor. Your success as an artist is predicated on many factors, but one VERY BIG factor is knowledge. EBSQ provides you with the ability to learn on the fly. You have a question .... you get an answer. The visual tutorials are insane! Real member artists that specialize in different mediums spark interest & guide you through a project. What more ... they become your friend.

I joined EBSQ in September of 2004...back in my eBay days.
I've maintained my online portfolio here at EBSQ and have referred so many people
to view it here.
EBSQ is perfect for what I need.
I can offer Certificates of Authenticity.
I've got a number of different 'galleries'.
I could go on and on about everything I like about EBSQ...
certainly so many of the other artists have been simply
wonderful and so helpful.
Thanks so much for offering such a wonderful site!
