Well given that Merlin was my last completed Pritten I decided that I had to do Arthur -

Still tons of work to do on him at this point but he's coming along nicely.

I won't do the undershading on his body until the legs are joined to the body. This time I'm trying a short hair with the fur, I'm pleased so far!

I especially like the eyes with the black outline.  What is his accessory?  I'm guessing its a donut being dunked in a mossy geyser.

Thanks Beth!!!

He's Arthur - so that's the Donut in the Stone - as told in great legends: "Once and Future Donut" or "Nights of the Round Table*" (* with a hole in the middle) or "Lady of the Break**" (**coffee break)!! Classic Pritten Literature!!!

We just house-sat for a week and one of the 4 cats had those outlined eyes. They are so cool - when their eyes are like that it always makes me think they are wearing kitty-cat eyeliner :) Love his story too, so funny! Very Prittenish. Another beautiful Pritten, can't wait to see him complete.

I have a lot of fun making up their stories!! They're fun!!!

Still furring!! Have one side completed and working on the other side - then I still have the back, front, tail and head to complete! I better get back to it!!

THANKS!!!

I'm very pleased with Arthur! I had no idea how the short fur was going to turn out - sort of a big risk to take in terms of time invested but he came out really well! He's moving to Canada soon.

Have a new head started but haven't really come up with an idea yet - hope to pass that hurdle today. Already haven't had enough time to work this week and even less for the rest of the week. Tomorrow was supposed to have been my first needle felting class but no students signed up but I still need to go to JoAnn's and do the open house to hopefully get students for the class which is next weekend. Tomorrow afternoon BJ has his first graduation party to attend and Sunday he graduates.

Seems the more I need time to be able to work the less time there is.
