I was telling an old friend of mine about this site because he was wanting to get into collecting and stuff. I took a long look at the front page and realized that everything was geared towards artists. Hmmmm.... I think it would be cool if there were some helpful guides, tips and tricks, and general thoughts geared towards collectors. Maybe keep 'em looking around the web site more and maybe give a nervous buyer more confidence in approaching us...

What do you think? (because I know Amie is just looking for something to do

)

A lot of that stuff is on the list of things in progress, but we do want to keep the site's focus primarily on the artist and our community (of which our patrons are an important part). We were told by a lot of outside experts our focus was too much all over the place in the past and nobody was being terribly well-served as a result.

Thanks for the feedback! It's good to know that some of our future projects are on-track with what you guys want to see!

cool! About the all over the place thing... never noticed it myself, but I'm not a expert. Was just thinking if we wanted buyers to see our stuff that we might cozy up to them a bit.

Um... different but related topic, will we ever get more keyword space?

regarding the keyword stuff--if you have a word happen organically as part of your title or artist statement, you don't need to add it again as a keyword for that item.

that said, eventually, yeah, that system is being overhauled.
