LOL, great title, Kevin!!  Lovely clarity, color and composition!!  I think you nailed it and gave it a perfect title!!

Beautiful mushrooms, Richard.  I like them in black and white, just perfect!

Back from my friends......they had a brush pile (large!) on their property so they had the volunteer fire dept. come and burn it down.  This is one of the volunteers.....

Thanks, Lisa.  And, yes every onnce in a while I do something besides flowers!  LOL........I love your barbed wire.  What really makes it is the red on the log.....moss or something?  Sure contrasts so well with the green and the wire.  THUD!

Carolyn, great social landscape image. The composition is great, the hose seems to spring from the grass, the name on the back of the uniform, it almost looks as if you shot a knight fighting a dragon.

Lisa, your tree looks like a persecuted prisoner...it's almost religious in tone.

Kevin, your image is a symphony of contradictions. The pastel bird with its graceful curves sitting on a stark grey heavily textured tree with its harsh lines and dark background...

THUD<, THUD, THUD...a terrific trio.

I'll be gone for the week w/o computer so last until friday.

****Sigh***  So good, such talent all the way around.  Kevin, makes me smile and so well done.
Richard, soft, lovely, as always a wonderful, wonderful macro.

It's in the palm of your hand

Lovely, Kevin.  The colors and composition, perfect!  I totally agree with Richard.

Richard, lovely, soft image.  I want to touch it.  Going to miss you this week.  Have a good time while you're away!

Lisa, amazing color.  I love the composition, but the color truly makes it.  That blue against all that green with the touch of yellow.  So pretty!

Flowers, but it was the reflection that I thought was so interesting!

The John Heinz refuge is having a photo contest to raise money, so of course I'm entering. Up to three images and a small donation gets me in. If I win I will just donate the $100.00 prize money back to the refuge anyway.

Got to enter at least one Heron image ( I like this one so far )

And one Sunrise ( it's hard to see them in this small image, but there is a pair of geese in the water face to face forming a heart shape )

Exciting contest for a great cause, Kevin.  I like both the images and the geese in the sunrise add a lot of interest to the image. Of course the Heron one is just perfect, love the tough of the red-wing blackbird in it!

Lovely, Lisa.  I like the Sepia tones, always a winner in my book!

More floral, but I tried a different perspective....
